Visit of Most Revered Swami Gautamanandaji Maharaj, President of Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission to Sri Sarada Math, Bengaluru on 21-3-26.

Most Revered Swami Gautamanandaji Maharaj offering arghya in the shrine and performing arati to the Holy Trio.

Most Revered Gautamanandaji Maharaj visited Sri Sarada Math, Bengaluru on 21.3.2026. He came at around 9.30 am, our primary school children played band set while he was entering the premises from Gate to the Temple.

Then, he went to the Shrine to offer argya, followed by Arati of incense sticks and panch pradeep to Sri Ramakrishna, Jagat Janani Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda. For a long time, he prayed in the shrine.

Later, we rendered pranams to him and he blessed us all.

Sm. Purnima Ganguly & party sang bhajans while we were offering pranams to the Revered Maharaj. He left at around 10.30 am after staying for about an hour here.

Spiritual Retreat – 1st March 2026

A Spiritual Retreat was held on Sunday, 9th March 2025, from 9:30 am to 12:15 pm. The programme consisted of Vedic Chanting, Reading from Daily Thoughts and Prayers, followed by Welcome Address, Speeches in Kannada and English, along with Bhajans on Sri Sarada Devi, Sri Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda. Prasad was distributed after 12:15 pm.

Pravrajika Yogatmaprana is rendering seva in our Rural Devt. Project at Junjuramanahalli, near Tumakuru. She delivered lecture in Kannada on “Sampada tava sripada” on Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna

Pravrajika Amoghaprana is rendering seva in Kampti centre of Nagpur. Earlier, she has rendered seva in many other centres including Pune and Chikmagaluru. Her lecture topic was “Manifestation of Divinity even in the minutest work” on Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi

Shyama Nrendranathan is Bio-Senior scientist at ISRO. She received initiation from Rev.Ranganathanandaji Maharaj. Her lecture topic was “Seeking truth – the scientific way: what I learnt from Swamiji’s works” on Swami Vivekananda

Sri Ramakrishna Jayanti – 19th February 2026

Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna’s Birthday was celebrated at Sri Sarada Math, Bengaluru on Thursday, 19th February from 7:30 am to 12:15 pm. The programme consisted of Special Puja, Vishnu Sahasranama Chanting, Bhajans, Havan, Reading from the Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna, Discourse on His life & teachings and Arati. Friends and Devotees were cordially invited to attend the function. Prasad was distributed after 12:15 pm.

Smt.Gowramma was the guest speaker. She spoke on the topic “The essence of Bhagavadgita in the simple teachings of Sri Ramakrishna”.

It was live streamed on Sri Sarada Math, Bengaluru’s YouTube Channel.

Swami Vivekananda Jayanti – 10th January 2026

The Birthday Celebration of Swami Vivekananda was held at Sri Sarada Math, Bengaluru on 10th January 2026 from 7:30 am to 12:15 pm. The programme started with Special Puja, Kathopanishad Chanting, Havan, followed by Bhajans and Discourse. Friends and devotees were invited to participate on this sacred day. Prasad was distributed after 12:30 pm.

Jaganmayi Himamshu was the guest speaker. She is a fine artist and programmer with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and a Master of Fine Arts degree from America. After working at animation studios across the United States, she returned to India to focus on her true passions: fine art oil painting and writing. Her artworks have been featured in magazines, and one of her paintings was presented as an official gift from Auroville to the Queen Mother of Bhutan. She has also translated the Kannada book “GanaYogi Kempegowda” into English. Her creative practice is inspired by mythology, psychology and philosophy. She is an ardent devotee of the holy Trinity, Sri Takur, Ma and Swamiji and the title of her lecture was : Swami Vivekananda’s Universal Love.
