Visit of Rev. Atandraprana Mataji, General Secretary of Sri Sarada Math & Ramakrishna Sarada Mission – 21st to 26th November 2025
Pravrajika Atandraprana Mataji arrived here on 21st of November. She was invited to speak at the Centenary Celebration of R.K. Math, Mysuru. The very next day she went to Junjuramanahalli where our rural development project is going on. She appreciated the effort put forth by our sisters there and shared some suggestions also. At Sri Sarada Math – Bengaluru, a spiritual Retreat was conducted on Monday the 25th of November and she spoke on ‘The impact of the teachings of Holy Trinity in our lives’. The response was good. She left for Kolkata on 26th of November.
Raasa Purnima – 5th November 2025
On account of Raasa Purnima, there was a talk by Dr.Padmashree on “Maha Raasa Kreeda – Raasa Leela – Description & Significance”. The lecture is available on Selected Lectures page.
Spiritual Retreat – 21st September 2025
A Spiritual Retreat was organized on Sunday the 21st of September 2025 at Sri Sarada Math, Bengaluru from 9.30 am to 12.15pm. The Program was as follows:
1. Sri Lalitha Sahasranam chanting & Bhajans by Sri Jagaddhatri group from 9.30 am to 10.15am.
2. Br. Divya Darshini spoke on “Divine Mother Sri Sarada Devi – ‘The Chandika’ incarnated as Ambika” from 10.15am to 11am. The lecture is available on Selected Lectures page.
3. Bhajans on Sri Maa Durga by Smt. Purnima Ganguly and party from 11 am to 12pm.
4. Bhogarati was followed by Prasad distribution.

Sri Krishna Janmashthami – 16th August 2025
Sri Krishna Janmastami was observed at Sri Sarada Math, Bengaluru on Monday, the 16th August 2025 from 4 to 6 pm. Devotees chanted hymns and sang songs on Lord Sri Krishna. Pr.Chitprabhaprana spoke on Lord Sri Krishna for about 40 minutes. The lecture can be found on our Selected Lectures page. At the end of the programme, prasad was distributed to all.
Visit of Most Rev.Divyanandaji Maharaj, Vice-President of Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission to Sri Sarada Math, Bengaluru on 20-7-25.
Most Rev. Swami Divyanandaji Maharaj, Vice president, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission was gracious to accept our request to visit this Math on 20.07.2025. At about four o’clock he arrived. Revered Nityasthanandaji, President, Ramakrishna Math, Basavanagudi, Bengaluru and Revered Bodhaswarupanandaj President, Ramakrishna Math, Halasuru, Bengaluru accompanied him. First, he offered arghyas to the Holy Trinity. Devotees were also assembled at prayer hall and were singing bhajans which Re. Maharaj appreciated and enjoyed. He spoke for about twenty minutes on Motherhood of God and the presence of Divine everywhere. After accepting the pranams, he came to the previous prayer hall downstairs and we rendered pranams. Light refreshments were served and at about six o’clock he left this place. He was incredibly happy to be here, and we also enjoyed his divine presence and blessed by his grace on us all!

Spiritual Retreat – 9th March 2025
A Spiritual Retreat was held on Sunday, 9th March 2025, from 9:30 am to 12:15 pm. The programme consisted of Vedic Chanting, Reading from Daily Thoughts and Prayers, followed by Welcome Address, Speeches in Kannada and English, along with Bhajans on Sri Sarada Devi, Sri Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda. Prasad was distributed after 12:15 pm.
Dr. Arpita Haldar expressed her views on Holy Mother, highlighting various divine as well as human aspects of Mother. She did her B.Sc. with Physics (Hons) from Burdwan University, West Bengal. After this she did Post-B.Sc. B. Tech & M. Tech in Applied Optics and Optoelectronics from University of Calcutta, West-Bengal. Arpita completed her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD.) in Photonics Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT-Kanpur) in 2022. She worked as an Assistant Manager in the Lightening Industry (Havells India Ltd.) for one year after finishing her PhD. Presently, she is working as a Post-doctoral Fellow in the center for nanoscience and engineering at Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru.
Pravrajika Purnatmapra is rendering seva in our Rural Devt. Project at Junjuramanahalli, near Tumakuru. She will deliver lecture in Kannada on Sri Sri Thakur – “Sri Ramakrishna as Mahasagar.”
Pravrajika Asaktaprana presented an online lecture. She has narrated in her Audio & Visual Presentation through P.P.T – why Swami Vivekananda has given so much importance for the upliftment of women, glancing back to the history to the present condition. She is rendering her seva at R.K.S. Mission, Sister Nivedita Heritage Museum & Knowledge Centre, Kolkata. She has done PH.D on Sanskrit and particularly on one of the Prasthan Trayas – Brahma Sutras and thesis on “Analytical study of the structure & meaning of the Brahma sutras with special reference to the Samanvaya adhyaya.”

Sri Ramakrishna Jayanti – 1st March 2025
Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna’s Birthday was celebrated at Sri Sarada Math, Bengaluru on Saturday, 1st March from 7:30 am to 12:15 pm. The programme consisted of Special Puja, Vishnu Sahasranama Chanting, Bhajans, Havan, Reading from the Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna, Discourse on His life & teachings and Arati. Friends and Devotees were cordially invited to attend the function. Prasad was distributed after 12:15 pm.
Smt.Jyoti was the guest speaker. She spoke on the topic “Sri Ramakrishnara : Sath-Chit-Ananda”.

National Youth Day Celebrations, Junjaramanahalli – 28th January 2025
National Youth Day was celebrated on 28/1/25. 228 students and accompanying Teachers from different schools participated in the function, which was from 11am to 3pm. Programme was as follows – • Vedic chanting, Welcome Address, • Enactment of Swamiji’s Chicago Address, • ‘Sw. Vivekananda Friend of all’ – Lecture in Kannada by Purnatmaprana, • ‘Narendra Gatha’ –enactment of Swamiji’s life to the ‘Lavani’ song by NVPJ students, • Songs on Swamiji by participating Schools, • Chief Guest Address – Sm. Pramila Shivanna, • Presentation of Memento to Participating Schools, • Dance for the song on Swamiji – O banda Sri Guru Vivekananda, • Quiz on Life of Sw. Vivekananda, Prize Distribution. Lunch was served to all.

Sri Sarada Math, Bangalore celebrated National Youth Day on Saturday, 25thJanuary 2025. In this celebration students from 15 institutions participated. (248 from High School, 106 from P.U.College and 93 P G College) (8 schools and 3 P.U.Colleges and 4 Degree College.)
The programme started with chanting of Medhasukta by the students of Nivedita Vidya Peetha balamandir. Pravrajika Chitprabhaprana welcomed the gathering and after that 15 High School Students gave speech on the topic “Great things can be done by great sacrifices only”. This session was concluded by Dr. Anuradha, Registrar Maharani Cluster University. She made students feel that Swamiji is our own. In cultural program, Nivedita Vidya Peetha balamandir students performed “Garba Dance” which is one of the folk dances of Gujarat.
After the dance, 7 college students gave speech on the topic “Never mind failures, they are the beauty of life”. Students expressed their failures and how they used failures as a step to success. This session concluded by Smt. Lalitha Kandaswamy. She is a faculty of Yogakshema, which aims to improve the quality of life of people across all spectra of society. She told the importance of self confidence and positive thinking.
Student Speakers received certificate. The best 12 student speakers received certificate with Swami Vivekananda photo. All participants received certificates and books Sannyasa geete, Ganga Bai and Sister Nivedita. Lunch was served to all.
Swami Vivekananda Jayanti – 21st January 2025
The Birthday Celebration of Swami Vivekananda was held at Sri Sarada Math, Bengaluru on 21st January 2025 from 7:30 am to 12:15 pm. The programme started with Special Puja, Kathopanishad Chanting, Havan, followed by Bhajans and Discourse. Friends and devotees were invited to participate on this sacred day. Prasad was distributed after 12:30 pm.
Madhurima was the guest speaker. She pursued her B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from VIT, Vellore. She currently works as a Computer Scientist at Adobe, focusing on product development and solution consulting. In addition to her work, she has recently completed her post-graduation in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from the prestigious Indian Institute of Science (IISc), while working full time at Adobe. President Mataji bestowing Mantra Diksha
Most Revered Premaprana Mataji, President of Sri Sarada Math & Ramakrishna Sarada Mission visited Sri Sarada Math, Bengaluru (Bengaluru) from 11th January 18th January 2025.
During her stay she met devotees & friends from 5 pm to 5:30 pm and candidates for Diksha on a separate day.
She bestowed Mantra Diksha for thirty-nine earnest seekers on 14th & 15th January. Out of a total of thirty-nine candidates, seventeen seekers came from Junjuramanahalli where the Rural Development Project is going on.
She visited Ramakrishna Maths of Bull Temple Road and Halasuru. She offered flowers at Shrine, met Revered Monks, and had prasad there.
A special programme was arranged on 17.1.2025 from 10 am to 12 pm with Vedic chanting, Bhajans, and benedictory address by her. She prayed & blessed all by quoting Holy Mother’s life which is the ideal for all. Her speech was translated into Kannada also.
After Bhogarati, Rev. Mataji received pranam from devotees and friends. They were served prasad. All were spiritually benefitted and cherished her Divine presence.
